    Re: Text messaging nightmare!

Go on to the O2 website, ring them or call in to a store and ask for the text anytime. I am assuming you are on pay as you go. For £10 a month you can get 300 texts, £20 500 or £30 1000 texts. You can also nominate a number as your favourite number to get 500 minutes free. I have this and only spend £10 a month on my phone on O2 PAYG.

    Hope this helps.

allyc26 --- Do you send a lot of the text messages when you have access to a PC at home or at work. ?

Their is a free service from http://www.cbfsms.com/ that allows you to text message a mobile in the UK free of charge, if this is your situation send the text messages free from your PC for greater savings.

    Hi,

Well that will save you a fiver straight away. You will probably find better tariffs on contract, a lot of suppliers are offering mix n match schemes that allow calls or texts to be classified the same.

    Text messaging nightmare!

Every month I spend about £30 a month texting my boyfriend and I am finding it way to much! Please could you tell me if there are any deals out there where I could text one number very cheaply or for free if I pay a special amount a month.

At the moment I am an 02 customer and my boyfriend is vodafone ... I have seen that 02 are doing a special promotion at the moment for £5 get 1000 texts but this is only when you top up £20!!

I don't mind changing to any network just as long as I can get these costs down permanetly and not just for a few months!!

    Please help!!

    Thanks

    Ally
