    Hi

    Have you checked the terms of your policy on either the certificate or policy booklet to see if it details this kind of thing. Failing that a quick call to Tesco's Insurance customer services line should be able to resolve your query.

    yes we do have accidental damage cover but it has not been damaged accidentally its just that over a period of time the rain has seeped through and is just laying on the roofboards inside i e you can see a patch halfway along the garage roof and was wondering if i could claim on this as have never made a claim on anything at anytime as have never needed to.await your reply

    Do you have accidental damage cover?

    If yes, and the roof was "accidentally" damaged you would be covered.

    Tesco Buildings & Contents Insurance

    Can anyone tell me please if i could claim for a new garage roof under tesco buildings insurance or if i ring them up are they going to say to me sorry but you cant claim as its due to wear and tear...thankyou John
