Re: TalkTalk like to Talk Trash

    Hi RIck,

I can only apologise if there were difficulties in the completion of your initial order. This would indicate a potential issue with the transfer of your contract details from field agents to the provisioning teams on this occasion.

Once established that there was no record of your order on the system the correct process would be to check if you still wished to sign up with TalkTalk and then to transfer the call to the Sales Team to place the relevant order and advise you timescales for provisioning etc. You should not have been given multiple numbers to dial as all transfers can be completed internally without you having to redial, again I can only extend my apologies in relation to this matter.

    Regards

    Mark

Re: TalkTalk like to Talk Trash

Can someone help? I went with talk talk from BT a few months ago with my landlines and broadband. I now have 2 bills in from them both one for landline talk talk (£23) and the other from BT for broadband (£66) per month. I should be with talk talk for both but when i called up talk talk they said something about the MAC code i gave them was invalid?? Which is not my problem i got this from BT. I was never informed that this was the case and assumed everything was through Talk talk til now. When i first decided to go to talk talk they said they would pay for my cancellation fee from BT but now i have everything to pay including a £180 cancellation fee from BT if i want to cancel because i am contracted?? WHAT?? So i either cancel BT and pay £250 (cancellation fee and bill) to be with talk talk or stick to BT and keep paying £66 per month just for broadband can anyone help here? I do not know what to do but i am absolutly raging here!!!!!!! What a waste of time with them both. It is talk talks fault for not doing it right in the first place but they will not pay a thing now.

Rick - Anyways how do i get the Phone charges revoked??? please dont say i gotta ring stupid people up at TT again...

Unfortunately once you've dialled the numbers and made the phone calls, you're not entitled to a refund of the cost of any calls based upon the grounds you are unhappy with the outcome. Once you've made them ....you've gotta pay for them and put it down to a bad experience, but then I believe you may have already understood this.!

    TalkTalk like to Talk Trash

    Hi people,

Back in March i had a TT sales rep knock on my door and silly me let him blag my head with TT Trash. Me being normally a hard target for this rubbish let my guard down and allowed him to talk me into getting TT broadband/Phone package.

After a couple of weeks or so i got a letter from TT confirming my order and that they will let me know via phone of when im going 'live' and they will send me my free router.

12 weeks later i've heard jack so i thought ah well i'll give them a ring and see whats going on only to find out that they have no record of me or my order so i started to look into this and started to ask various question on how this can be and i have a letter with my order number on it.

The person on the other end of the phone was useless and gave me another number to ring so i rang that only to get the same reply and another number so i rang that and this time the person said that im with TT and i told him that im not as im still paying for my 'other ISP' and i have not paid anything to TT.With this infomation the person told me to ring another number so i did and surprise surprise im told they have no details of me or my order. So to cut a long long long story short in the end i had to ring various numbers only to get the same answer and i got told to ring my ISP to see if they had anything on record of me leaving them to which they did and they pointed out that i haven't left them yet as TT where draggin their feet. so its back onto TT with various numbers handed out to me and being moved from one department to another in the end i got to some sales department and the woman asked me for my order number and surprise surprise could not find me on their systems so i explained everything and told her i been on the phone for 3 hours trying to get to the bottom of this so she puts me on hold for a couple of minutes then comes back to me to say she has fount my order... On a system they don't look at...OMFG!!! WTF!!!! 3 Hours of my life wasted on this junk of a ISP

I told the lady im not paying for the phonecalls to TT as they have made a mockery of my order only for her to says take it up with your current Phone provider..EH why is this their problem come on i mean TT fobbed me off passed me around and basicly talked TRASH to me for 3Hrs at 5pence per min.

If anyone who reads this thinking of joining Talk Talk then good luck Trash Talk would suit them better

Anyways how do i get the Phone charges revoked??? please dont say i gotta ring stupid people up at TT again...

    Rick.
