I joined TT in 2006. I saw recently that you had to break UK calls at 60 and not the original 70 minutes but wanted to confirm it in black and white. I could find no t&cs at all. The tariff guide says at the bottom of p13 for international calls break after 60 BUT there are so many different tariffs I can't find what the ** specifically refers to. I phoned TT and the operative confirmed 60 and not 70. I said where's it written down because telephone operatives in any company vary enormously in quality - by the that I mean mainly whether they can be bothered to look up an answer to a q and give you an official answer or just give you top of the head stuff. I forget what came after but as it doesn't really matter to me I decided to break calls at 60. On this point you have my total sympathy but I'm not sure how far you'd get with TT if you argued along these lines.
I don't understand the other part unless you were making calls outside the 36 free countries. Just occurred to me do you still have to put a number in the phone and then dial internation al number?
Anyway TT is about as clear as mud in their presentation.
I suggest you call Otello and Ofcom for advice - they are helpful. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
