This has been covered in other posts but sadly there is no where to go in your situation apart from BT or Virgin Media if available as far as I am aware.

Actually, Talk Talk is one of the few where you know from day one you will be on LLU and subject to these charges. The true lottery are other providers like Tiscali where you can sign up with a BT line but they then deceptively switch you over without telling you.

I have to admit I am with TT at the moment having been with Tiscali and I am very tempted to make the move back myself!

I am currently with Talk Talk, not the best service or reliable, in my opinion, I have been with them for more than the 18 months, but after enquiring I am on the LLU system and so seem unable to switch to anyone but BT with a new 12 month contract, talk talk seem to know this and is there a way around?, I was thinking of tiscali, but these are on LLU too so all they could ofer was that I went back to BT for my line rental and them for the broadband
