swiftcover rip of be a ware

    Hi

I have a insurance policy with swiftcover and i have just recently sold my car i only had 6 weeks worth of insurance left on it, and i am not going to buy another car due to the high petrol price, cuz i am still a student.

A few days ago i contacted swiftcover and they told me i would have 2 transfer my car insurance to anothe car a pay a hight preium ( i would have to buy the car), or on the other hand cancel the policy and loss my no clams bonus and have £70 refund.

I dnt want to lose my no clamis bonues, and sell my car. Is this legal? its not ethical.

I don this last year with another isurance company(endsleigh) and they did not have a problem of haveing an insurance policy with out a car and still cave me my no clamis bonus as long as i had the cove over 6 months, where as swiftcover u got to have a car no matter what are lose your no clamis bonus.

The policy will not be valid if you don't have a car but I would be inclined to consider letting the policy run for the 12 months and not ask for a refund.
