    I reckon they were quite clear about who they would cover - basically those in the waiting period now, even if they were redundant in say December.

    There was no mention of people who could have benefitted from this in earlier years - that would be a can of worms and a half. Ask, but don't get your hopes up.

    You can always ask. My guess is that your chances of success are nil.

    Support for Mortgage Interest

    I was made redundant in January 2007.At that time the Goverment rule was that no help toward mortgage repayments could be given until after 9months. I had no other income other than my £121.per fortnight benefits and had to use my savings to repay my mortgage.

    Now that the Goverment has changed this to 13weeks,what would be the chances of me reclaiming payments made over the 26weeks period?
