    Economy 7?

7 hours of cheaper electric at a time to suit your local supply and demand. This is standard, just say economy 7 when you phone up. Don't worry about the local switching of your meter this is done by the national grid (or whatever they are called these days) and not by powergen ect.

Super Deal - Stored Heat Energy

Southern Electric supply me 5 hours charge per night and 2 during the day to my Electric Storeage Boiler at times to suit their supply load, they switch my meter on to receive using radio signal.

Since December 2005 I have suffered 39% price increase on this Tariff but cannot find other supplier to quote me.

Problem could be due to radio switching, but also seems very likely that telephone sales people in Call Centres do not understand this supply arrangement/tariff and can't be bothered to progress enquiry.

Is a competitive market for this type of Off Peak supply available ? I use 150 units/24hrs during winter months.
