do you have a yorkshire bank near were you live?

 i ask because i was to rejected for a number of bank accounts then i seen on here, that the yourkshire bank don't credit score you, i had my appointment with the banking adviser and my account was opened and i was also given my account number and sortcode there and then in the appointment, and i received my meastro card and pin number with one week of my account being opened.

 i too have o2 and three on my credit file showing i owe them money, but i now have a o2 contract. i got from o2 online and pay via direct debit. i got the phone and price plan i wanted no problem.

 i have the creditexpert thing from experian and it shows my credit score is 385 VERY POOR and i am only 22.

well its funny you should say get in contact, because i just came off the phone from 3 and they said they cant take the rating of even if i do pay and they cant sort the phone as the contract has be terminated and the only thing i can actually do is take out a new contract! i was like what?!?! o2 i haven't yet contacted because i owe them more money and I'm awaiting to get that sum of money in my hands first then pay them.. but i was going to just call them up n ask if its OK if i can pay it up within 2 months or so... i wounder if they would let me?... i shall give them a ring sometimes this week. worse thing is the two company's didn't even contact me to tell  me they was going to put anything on to my record.

Well at least you recognised the problems. If you handle problems as they arise (such as the broken 'phone) and deal with the companies concerned, then you will not get bad ratings added to your credit reference scores.

Unless you can find a way to clear the outstanding issues, these will escalate and you could end up either with CCJs against your name or a worse report. My advice is to find out from both 3 and from O2 what is needed to clear up the issues and then ask them to amend the information held on Experian and Equifax. If you need to settle outstanding invoices, then you will have to either send a Postal Order (from the Post Office) or find someone who can pay them off with a card for you. Wait for around a month and then re-apply.

Hey all... well 2 weeks ago i applied for a account with switch card and cheque book and i got rejected n im soo annoyed. so the ladie told me to check my credit report as i done.. and it was three and o2  n i was sooo P'd off be cuz..

1. three should not off put anything on my creditreport becuz the phone the basicly chuked at me i was only 17... the fone broke so i never paid for it.

2. O2 was tookin out in my mams name and then name changed to me so i cood start payin it.. but the last month it never got paid for..... soo that also went on.

....

so i told the ladie.. she reply with well see if u can pay them back n they will change it or sumthin... and i was like ok.. then remembered HOW THE HELL WAS I SUPPOSED TO PAY THEM BACK.. I WOULD OF NEEDED THE ACCOUNT TO DOO IT!!

so im totally *** off.. and dont know what to doo...

anyhelp.. even tho its mainly me moaning.
