    Re: Students yet again

Hello, I am moving into a flat this year with one other girl. we are looking for a 12 month contract which is nice and simple as neither of us are very technical! Ideally we would like a package which includes telephone aswell but if this is going to be significantly more expensive we are willing to sacrifice it! Our postcode is NG72HU. We are currently waiting for a response from our landlord on whether or not we have a BT connection, already set up. If we do not is it cheaper to go with cable rather than paying a connection fee? What are the benefits/disadvantages of cable versus phone line. Thanks very much in advance! x

    Re: Students yet again

    Hi Katyn

If you're not going to move from the same student digs for at least 18 mths then yes Talk Talk is the ideal provider for you and your mates, especailly the Talk 2 International for £5.89 a mth is the best deal. But as is the case with most students people move around and so an 18 mth contract is not practicable.

If you're staying for 12 mths in the same digs then Be Broadband - Be Lite for £14 a mth is the best deal.

If you don't want a contract then PlusNet Option 2 for £14.99 a mth is the best deal.

    Cheers

    Jason

Katy Try the company Talk Talk you may be in a free broadband area and if you are you can get broadband and free phone calls UK and National with landline fee for 21.00.  If your not in a free broadband area price is 34.00 month with the free calls.  I have found them the best deal, one off connection fee of 29.99.
