Cavalier, my earlier comments on this product ( post 2nd Jan ) remain true. Scottish and Southern did seek to withdraw this product from all distribution sources on the 28th December 2007. However, they have advised me this afternoon that it remains available via their own site because they cannot remove it from there until the 14th Jan. I understand that the £50 offer from them is only available to customers in certain areas of Scotland and is actually a voucher which can be used against your account as opposed to an actual cash refund. Scottish Hydro informed me yesterday that the Pricefix 2008 will be available until 14/01/2008, and was therefore still available to apply for, this came from a manager at their call centre, if you can find out any more it would be appreciated thanks again Graeme

I've just managed to get a brief answer. I'm reliably informed that we won't be re-instating the tariff on Moneysupermarket.com. There is apparently a technical issue with the Scottish Hydro website which means they are currently unable to update it - hence they are still 'featuring' the Price Fix 2008 tariff.

I'm not sure - if you applied - whether they would still honour it. I'll see what further information I can find out for you tomorrow.

Hi, have just been informed today by Scottish Hydro that the Price Fix 2008 Tariff has been re-instated until 14/01/2008, as MS removed it from its comparison tables can anyone at MS advise if you will be putting it back in, hopefully you will.

Also the £50 cashback that SH are offering in todays press and on there website does not include PF 2008, incase anyone was interested.
