Anyone got an opinion of the safety of Smile on-line bank, I am a customer with savings & an ISA but in the current banking crisis am getting a little bit jumpy.

I will be spreading my savings about a bit more but am unable to find much info on the current state/strength of Smile.

Smile is part of Coop Bank - so few worries - sleep well !!!

Hi, I think they are probably one of the safest banks around at the moment as their ethical policy extends to bad and personal debt i.e. they won't allow to borrow over your means.

I think they are great and really helpful...I will never go back to one of the big banks again
