    Re: Sky Broadband Nightmare

    Hi there -

    well - what can I say ?

Have a read of my other post (s) (particularly the one referring to "sky" - has anyone got it yet ?) about poor service from the major broadband suppliers .

I just really despair at reading sorry tales like this.

    Sky Broadband Nightmare

After receiving an email from sky, I registered for the MAX broadband service. I received a letter informing me that my activation date would be 21/09/06. This came and went. I rang them up to complain and was told that there was a problem within the exchange, that my port was down. Its now six weeks later and still I have no broadband service. I have rang them on many ocassions to find out weather the problem has been resolved. All I get told is that its on on going issue but at yet there is no date when it will be fixed. I have been promised call backs each time and still no one has rang me back. How difficult can it be to fix the problem? I find it very hard to believe that a company as advanced sky is I simply fail to understand whjy its taking them soooo long to fix. I would like to see sky customers boycott them by cancelling their full subsriptions to ther service. maybe then they may shape themselves up and do something about it. I have now decided to change to another isp. I was on AOL but that wasnt much kop.
