    Single Trip Family Travel Insurance

I have a daughter who permanently resides with me and my partner. My partner also has 2 daughters, who stay with us one night during the week and every other weekend. I have booked a holiday for us all, and we will all be travelling together. We class ourselves as a 'family', and were going to book family travel insurance, until someone mentioned to me that my partners 2 daughters need to reside with us permanently. Is this correct? and if so, how should we be booking travel insurance to ensure we are all covered.

    Please advise.

    Thanks

    Poppy

    Hi Poppy

Yes that's right, to buy a family policy you do all need to reside together.

The only alternative would be to book as a group but check with your chosen provider that there are no ther restrictions and read your policy wording thoroughly.

    thanks
