    Well, it's not really up to you to sort out broadband for them. If they're considering being lodgers for a while, you could suggest that they get mobile broadband, which is slower, but you can use it almost anywhere (within reason).

    Just answered another thread in which post office was mentioned - best to read the T&C's first before taking the offer up.

    Hi, have you tried the post office - i've just looked at their homephone package for £10.72 a month which includes free evening and weekend calls and also includes the line rental. - it says no long contract and no tie-in. Maybe worth giving them a call.

    Short Term Phone Line option for broadband?

    Hi,

    I have lodgers who want broadband but I do not have a phone line in my house. BT phone lines are a minimum of 12 months but I do not want to commit that long. Are they any other options available to me?
