    Shaving Foam - cheapest

If you apply shaving foam to a carpet stain and leave for a little while, remove and or rub with a damp sponge you will be amazed at the result.

    Thanks for that tip joseyjo.

Therefore, you apply the shaving foam, leave and then rub and the stain as vanished?

So - on that basis - if I apply the shaving foam to my husband, leave for a little while and then rub - he'll vanish?  Amazing - off to try it now!!!   ;o)

Just hope the carpet doesn't grow stubble in the next few days. Got a nasty stain on my hall carpet, was going to hire a cleaning machine but may try the shaving foam first.

I have three in my house shaving now Indi, they apply shaving foam daily but they are still here Indi so not sure your cunning plan will work

Yeah, you're right DD - my cunning plan didn't work.  He didn't vanish - he's still  here - asking me why I wanted to shave him and unfortunately for me, he thinks it's leading up to something in his favour! <damn and dash>

What, with the Maltezer Challenge, Twix Challenge and Shaving Foam Challenge he's beginning to think I've gone barking mad!!!   ;o)

    Kind regards

    You have children don't you?

Just remind him how much pain you went through and waxing doesn't even come close. I suppose that may depend on where you wax but hey you've had kids so he's fair game.

    Good Luck

    Morning Indi

I see you have been posting so must still be alive and kicking.

Just trying the shaving foam tip. Willlet you know how it gors.

With 4 men in the house the "manly" smell of toiletries is usually bad enough but now carpets smelling of shaving foam too, oh joy

    Re: Shaving Foam - cheapest

Well thats all it will be used for in our house from now on. It did nothing to the carpet except make it smell like the bathroom after the men of the house have been in there one after the other. Oh well, looks like I will have to hire the carpet cleaner after all.

Why's my carpet started shaving? Either that or its gone rabid!

Here DD why don't you hire a carpet cleaner that looks like Daniel Craig - there's one near here!

Interesting point a carpet cleaner that looks like Daniel Craig, sorry but he's on Indi's wish list not mine.

Question for you. What make of carpet cleaner looks like DC is it a Vax? or a Dyson?

Where???????   I'm on my way!!!   LOL

    Hi all

DD, you're right, I wasn't killed - I couldn't get near him to do the waxing but the chase thankfully resolved the ulterior motive problem.  LOL.  I don't know how you go on with four men in the family, I only have one and find him a handfull!!!  I always say the good thing about having kids is that one day they grow up whereas husbands - they never do!!!  ;o)

CMK - "Having a shave"  - correct, but far too original.  In Spain, for example, the youngsters have shaving foam parties.  No - it's not what you think it is - they don't shave each other!!!  LOL.  They squirt it over a dance floor, gallons of it and then run through it.  Apparently it can be rather dangerous as it comes up to their faces and they can't breathe when they run through and could quite easily suffocate if they slipped down and knocked themselves out whilst 'in there.'   Glad to say it's not caught on over here yet but I'll bet it's only a matter of time.

    Kind regards
    Indi
