Your car is very 'saleable', the light is on and burning brightly for the masses when talking about low insurance group cars and the 206 has massive amounts of desirability too. A garage would love to buy your car from you but bear in mind that they would be selling it on at the max of £4100-ish. This will obviously have an impact on what they'll want to give you for it as, of course, they'll want to make a profit on it.

Expect bids of around £2500 from garages...

Another thing to note is that the car should be ready for sale once you've got someone there to look at it. Make sure the glass is clear, wheels free from brake dust and the tyres shiny black. Take all personal stuff out of the car, you want the buyer to imagine it being their car, not someone elses...

Just seen a few for sale around the £3700 - £4100 mark. Don't think you could achieve more than this but consider selling for less for a quick sale.

I think that model was a special edition based on LX, which has a guide value of £4125.

The best place is to monitor Autotrader or similar, these will give you an indication as to what prices cars actually sell at. Looking in Parker's guide or similar will give you an idea but bear in mind that these people sell magazines, not cars so they need to tell customers what they want to hear in order to sell mag's.

If you need a quick sale, it could be worth looking into auction but if you want proper money for the car, this isn't the best place to achieve it.
