Part of the Nemo “ethos” is to “make things simple” so, as long as everything you have told them over the phone is correct, then I am sure things will be fine. Most of the process involves checking pay slips, the land registry etc. Once the paperwork comes out then it's a good sign.

If you are unsure then ask Nemo directly, they are very professional and approachable.

Hi there, just looking for a bit of advice.......

I've have just applied for a secured loan with Nemo (£25000 loan on a property worth £125000 with £92000 outstanding mortgage). The loan has been approved over the phone, credit check etc. and the forms are being sent out. I was just wondering what other checks will be made and whether the difficult part ie. being accepted over the phone, has been done? Could make the difference between a good christmas and a not so good one!!
