It's not your fault; contact your card issuer immediately asking them to start the chargeback procedure, inform them of the situation and the dentists continued failure to respond to any of your numerous attempts to contact them to resolve this matter.

You are covered under S75 whether abroad or at home, as long as the supplier has breached their contract to supply the goods or services....which they have, also further failing to communicate with any open intention to remedy or reimburse you for their failures.

    Section 75 - purchase abroad

Whilst on holiday I made an appointment for dental treatment. The treatment cost £500 and the surgery asked me to pay in advance to confirm the booking so I put it on my credit card. I turned up for the appointment and the surgery was closed. I waited all day and nobody turned up, I was returning to the UK the next day. Anyway, got home and have been trying to get in touch with them but they don't reply to my emails or do not contact me to refund my money. Can I get a refund under section 75 or was this my own fault?
