If its scraped the sills and any of the floor pan down to bare metal you may wish to get something like Hammerite on it to seal it from the elements and a coat of Waxoyl underseal on top of this would be a good idea too.

Hopefully you are not involving the insurers.

Depending on the vehicle, you may find an identical piece of plastic at your local scrap/dismantler's yard for a few pounds. A Fibre-glass repair may be possible but I expect the finish would be better simply by replacing the plastic.

    Scratched and scraped

    Hi

I hit a high kerb recently but fortunately the car is ok according to the garage.

However, underneath the driverside front of the car it is plastic and is somewhat grazed and scraped with the impact of the hit, nothing severe but I would like to clean it up and protect it if possible, what substances would be recommended for such a job ?

    Thanks
