    Response to maxsteam's reply ; Please explain a 'Bond in an Isa', something I have not been told about ?

    People in Building Societies only tell you what they want to sell!

    Is there any reason why you don't want to have a bond in an ISA?

    Isas used to be favourite, now it appears to be Bonds. Yes the interest rates have halved, but which to select for one or two

    years on sums up to £5,000 ? I am am so uncertain as to which to select for short term gain.
