savings advice required for property equity

I'm about to sell my house in 2 weeks and move into rented while my new build house is completed.  I'm looking to put the equity from the house being sold (£225,000) into a savings account for approx. 6 months until it is required for my new house. I'm looking for interest paying monthly and no notice for withdrawing the money. What's the best account to setup for these savings ? Thanks

If you click on the "money" tab at the top you can compare savings rates. You could consider a 1-month notice account for the bulk of the investment as it will be likely that you'll have a good idea when you'll be completing the purchase at least a month before. When you get the list of rates, for safety, avoid investing with anyone you've not heard of or have reason not to trust.
