    Re: Savings action group

That would be wonderful but even if there was a strong group, don't you think all an "ING/IF" would have to do would be possibly temporarily offer a "chart topping" product?

Unless I have got it wrong the big picture scandal "today" is the fact that there are virtually no fixed interest ISA bonds whereas there is a fair spread of fixed interest bonds - ISA funds are of course a "captive audience" - you can't simply switch to fixed interest. Also am I the only one who is appalled at the ISA industry's boast that there are no transfer costs and mobile phones with contracts are free - at least the mobi has to have an *! Look at ISAs and the equivalent non ISAs and strangely enough there's a 0.3 ish to 0.4% ish gap in favour of standard products. Why? Er... psst over here mate it's an inclusive transfer cost but I didn't say anything?

    Savings action group

Despite no change in the bank rate interest rates are still falling ie Ing and IF. Is'nt it time for savers to organise into a group so that we can all move money in unison and therefore gain some recognition that opinions do count. It appears to me that all banks confer on their actions so why not the savers? w00ly
