I have recently had a new line installed by BT and subsequently transferred to a Tiscali package for both calls and broadband. I am told there is a BT wholesale tag on the line and I am having immense problems in getting it removed. Tiscali are adamant that because it is a BT tag then BT must remove it on my instructions. BT are adamant that it is the responsibility of the 'new provider' who will incurr a cost and it is for that reason that Tiscali can't/won't get it removed. Ofcom will not offer any help re tags
Who is right and what can I do to get this resolved?
