    Remortgage - additional costs

Hi, I'd be grateful for any advice from the experts please.

I'm in the process of arranging to remotgage, having come to the end of a fixed rate deal. My question is - what costs are there associated with doing this that aren't always made clear at the start of the process ? Such as, do I need a solicitor ? Is there normally a fee for transferring money ? Does the property need to be re-valued ? etc etc

    Thanks for your help

    Howard

Your property may need valuing if you are changing mortgage suppliers - but you do not need a solicitor or any legal advice

There is no charge for setting up the mortgage either - some suppliers will do the whole thing for nothing too !!

Just make sure that you pick the right company - and right mortgage
