    Re-Morgage Advise Help Please

I am coming to the end of my mortgage term and have never had to re-mortgage before so I'm totally a novice at this can you please explain what charges will be involved (ie) solicitors fee's etc.

Also I took out a loan secured on my property a year or so ago with another lender other than my current mortgage lender what effect will this have on my new mortgage application?

    Re: Re-Morgage Advise Help Please

With remortgages, a lot of lenders offer free valuations and solicitors fees. In regards to your secured loan, when you remortgage, your current lender or new mortgage lender will take off you monthly payment from your income (if you decided to continue the loan and not pay it off) to check affordability. I am an independent mortgage adviser and source the whole market, therefore happy to help. The best thing is to check what your current mortgage lender has to offer and then compare with other lenders.

Thanks so much for your advise I have 5 months left on the mortgage but know that my current lender will not offer again as I'm currently with Northern Rock and have already have already recieved a letter to say that they cannot guarantee that an offer will be made.

I will be be back in touch at a later date.

    Thanks

No problem! Just give about 2 months before it’s due as Lenders at the moment seems to be taking forever to sort out anything! Mandy
