Re: Reliability comes in 1 word "MADASAFISH".....

    Hello Samara & grumpy,

I have just opened my emails on MAAF, only to find to my Horror you've sold out to BT, i left them to get away & now or in the not too distant future i'll be back with them !!!!!! ( in a way).

I know from a business view this may be good for you, but its a classic case of a big company buying up all the small fish in a big sea !.

Talk Talk have done this buying up companys to get rid of them.

Like alot of your MAAF Loyal customers i hope BT don't spoil things ie:- move t/help to India or do something totally daft.

If they do i will be having  a good look around the Market Place for a better deal come april 2008. I was not aware of this Aquistiton by BT of MAAF until last week & then googled it only to find some of my Posts on there !!!!.

    Bi for now Tony T

    Hi Samara,

    Thanks for an honest reply.

The worst I could end up with in the future is BT products but even they are trying to sort themselves out.

For now, I will dig out my Mac and choose one of your options.

     Regards,

    Grumpy

    Hi Grumpy,

Our customer services are located in Durban, South Africa, as they have been for the last two years.

Right now, it's business as usual.

    Kind regards,

    Samara

I like the idea of Madasafish but what will the service be like when the BT buy- out is complete and the service centre possibly end up in South Africa?

    Hello Samara,

Yes, thanks for that, but i did send the care team an email approx 3 weeks ago asking what they could do for me being a valued customer for the last 12 mths, the reply was good and very welcoming needless to say.

I got a good deal on the broadband & i was very happy with that, I work in a telephoney & broadband sevice department for a well known company but i dont think i would ever change from MAAF providing i get the products & services at the right price. I can honestley say RELIABILITY COMES IN 1 WORD "MAAF".

The b/band just seems to work all the time, sometimes speed is an issue but we dont download films or music but its not a real problem, it beats Dial Up any day of the week, & the phone side of the package is going to be very difficult to beat from my past experience, i used to be with BT for line rental & calls and bills came in at £30 per month now have the lot with MAAF & my bill for April was not over £26.

    Hi Tony T,

As a smaller ISP word of mouth is quite important for us, thank you for taking the time to post.

You've mentioned that you've been with us for a year for broadband, I hope that you've gotten in touch with us to see what we can offer you in exchange for a new 12 month contract. If you haven't already please send your username to care <at> madasafish.com and one of us will be happy to have a review of your account to see what we can offer you.

    Thanks again!

    Kind regards,

    Samara

Yes they are very good on customer service etc. I'd be interested to hear what people think about their new bundled products. Does anyone have one and what is the service quality of the phone element like?
