    Re: Ref:- Broadband services

Every ISP will have a quota of customers who experience problems. The measure of the ISP is how big that quota is and how quickly and efficiently those problems are rectified.

Good luck with MAAF - I think you've made a wise decision in your choice of ISP.

    hi Zer02004
just to update you all since my last posting. I progressed with an order to change my phone provider over to MAAF this
goes ahead on 17th Oct. I will let you know in a month or so how things are going

I did read in on a review site yesterday that some one had had some trouble with MAAF services mainly speed etc but this totally
depends on the distance of the BT line from the exchange and quality of the copper wires, i cannot fault this product to date.
    Cheers tony t

MAAF do seem to be a reputable provider and the delectable Samara is always ready to sort out any problems.

hi Jason, thanks for your reply & input.

Madasafish are about to launch there line rental service in november 2006 with free eve/wkend calls included for £9.99 p/month,
you get 500 mins a month off peak 6pm to 8am and all weekend upto 60 mins then hang up & redial, £5.99 for the anytime package includes 1000 mins per month.(to 01 & 02 Uk numbers).
The whole package seems quite competetive to me.
I am considering this sevice as a full package to complement by MAAF b/band, at the moment i use BT line rental at £11 per month & CPS my calls through Tesco's, i have been on Tesco's home phone since February & have made some great savings so far.

They also do a good deal with a wireless router as well at the moment, its a BT Voyager 2110 for £25 + the adaptor. I bought 1 via BT & paid £59 with the laptop card.

Yep thanks Tony T, I would also reccommend Madasafish. Their no-nonsense simple products are reliable and customer focused, they're also a very nice bunch of people into the bargain as well.

while looking through the forum i noticed the not too good words that various people had to say about b/band from the many SP's out there, i can honestley reccommened Madasafish.com, £11.99 pm for 6 months then £17.99 per month thereafter for the remainder of the 12 month term, Free connection, Free modem & a 5gb usage.
Had a few tech issues to start with but cannot complain about them, 0844 number for customer services & t/help.
