    What about a secured loan? rather than a remortgage.

    Hi

    We currently have a very small mortgage @ 18k left on a repayment mortgage. We have some financial issues we would like to clear up. And my daughter is getting married next yr too. We are considering either a top up on our current mortgage or re mortgaging.... Our house is currently worth @ 150k. My husband is 56 and I am 45 so we do not want this to alter our end of mortgage term if possible....We are looking at @ 12k maybe a bit more.

    Would really appreciate any advice
