    "Push" email for Nokia E90

Has anyone got any tips on setting up "push" email on a Nokia Communicator E90 ?

I tried Vodafone - who suggested Email plus (which is similar to Blackberrys system) but this costs £10 per month

I understand that "Blackberry" will work on the E90 - but is this free ?

I think your prayers have been answered. Nokia have just launched their push email service and best of all it's FREE (for the moment)

I am using it and I have to say I find it excellent. It does everything I need it to and it is very reliable.

Here is the link : https://email.nokia.com/account/home.action

Thanks for that - very promising - however my email address is not accepted by them

I have sent in a bug report to Nokia - here's hoping !!

So I think I am right in saying that this should work. I believe the server "learns" so if no one prior to you has setup a NIldram email, then you can add the server details yourself and the system will then use those setting from then on for anyone else who has Nildram. Do you know your mailserver details and did you try adding them?

I didn't get as far as that - the initial screen (https://email.nokia.com/account/registerEmail.action) - I put my email address, password and characters shown in and ....."Unable to connect with the information provided. Please try again."

Hi - I've been having the same problem and getting the same message - did you solve it in the end?

Re: "Push" email for Nokia E90

Yes I did - Forget any "aftermarket" email utitities and if you check the actual E90 itself - it has the facility to receive push emails - open your email folder and options / e-mail settings / retrieval settings & automatic retrieval - the whole procedure is self explanatory
