    Unless you put the registration on a retention certificate, it'll still be on the car. The only way to get it back is to buy the car.

    I reckon that, after 24 months, the registration went the same way as the car. The plastic plates have no value unless you own the registration.

    I had a car repossed approx x24 months ago.

    At the time I took my private registration plates off the vehicle but never completed any paperwork to transfer or retain the plates.

    Does thin mean i have lost the registraton? Is there anyway to get it back - any feedback would be appreciated.
