You may get cover with SAGA insurance - worth a try.

No preexisting condition will be covered & you may find premiums high due to existing condition & expected lifespan.

    How old is your relative?

I expect all cover is likely to be quite expensive now.

Yes that's as I thought. Frustrating but understandable.

I very much doubt if any company will be able to cover ANY existing condition - I don't mean to sound nasty - but unfortunately the fact is that these insurance companies are in the business to make a profit ........

    Pre-existing illness - life assurance

My father is suffering from mid-stage Alzheimers and Dementia. I have been looking through his finances on behalf of my mother and discovered to my surprise that he does not have life assurance in force, a previous policy having matured and not extended or renewed. Consequently he is without life cover and in view of his illness could you clarify whether any Insurer would accept him for Life Assurance? If so, could you advise which Insurer(s) would be likely to quote?
