    Re: PPI and an IVA

If the IVA was completed then the Supervisor will have ceased to act and will no longer have any status to reclaim any money you recover.

It is worth making PPI claims although creditors may argue that they can offset any refund due against any debt that remains outstanding form the IVA so you may not get anything back but worth a try.

You are entitled to reclaim the missold PPI ...however, the insolvency practitioner would still be entitled to reclaim those payments from you should they become aware that you have received any money from within this same period.

    PPI and an IVA

    Hi,

A number of years ago I had various credit cards, most with PPI. I got into debt and eventually entered into an IVA to clear them. The IVA was settled almost 6 years ago. My question is, could I try to claim compensation for mis sold PPI on these credit card accounts even though I ended up with the IVA to clear debts on them?

I am also concerned it may also open up old wounds if I start investigations.
