Super Angry [8o|] Poor Credit Rating

background: Annus Horribilus - Marital issues leading to divorce / children / large mortagage.

Mrs. has very poor credit rating / Mr. Had "Good Credit" rating.
Mrs. has decided to default on pretty much everything and find some debt restructuring solutions without consulting Mr.
Mr. credit rating is now "Poor" despite all credit commitments personal and in joint names being kept in good order.
What effect has Mrs' actions had on Misters Credit rating; and how can Mr. prior to completion of divorce proceedings; divorce himself from the independent actions of Mrs and restore his credit rating?
Mr. is looking to life after the separation but fears actions currently being taken by Mrs. are extremely detrimental.
Mr. is looking to remortgage take secured loan against property.

any advice / help would be much appreciated.
