I have been with PLUSNEt since october 2005, when i lived in a shared house with wireless network, from the date of subscription to connection was approximately three weeks. i moved home in july 2006 and it was very easy to change, the customer service is ok and they are ever ready to help. the speed is also good for online gaming.

I left the excellent Metronet (which became part of plusnet while I was there) last year. I have seen no adverse criticism since I left. I changed to Talktalk 3 International with broadband, it is a stunningly good value package for me even though I am a light phone user. For a heavy phone user it must be cheapness personified. This is in absolute and relative terms to Metronet. The customer service at Talktalk is poor/very poor in absolute terms. In relation to Metronet words fail me to describe the gap.

Looking at all the complaints about the recent very cheap packages isn't this a case of 'You get what you pay for'?
