Axel, I would try threatening them with reporting them to Trading Standards. Their business isn't exactly ethical anyway and they may well respond. I have done this before when I had problems with an estate agent who was dealing with the flat I was renting. It's worth a shot. if they don't respond, report them to trading standards as I'm sure they'd be interested investigating them!

Axel -- I am just going to respond on the refund bit of your question. Yes you can apply to your credit card company for a chargeback, if all avenues to amicably get a refund from the internet company fail.

Then you have the protection a card offers, because the company have broken their contract to supply goods or services on time as stated in the contract, the same applies for non delivery or faulty goods or services. Simply ring your card co, asking for a chargeback claim form to be sent out to you, if all attempts to obtain a refund fail, or they keep ignoring your request.

I know exactly where you're coming from Axel! I sometimes used to
use essays when I was in University to help understand a topic but
luckily ours were available from the University library or through our
Tutors so I never had to try and find them on the internet! I would try
and find a phone number and ring them up. If they're saying that they
guarantee delivery and have not done so, then you should be able to get
a refund. If you ring them up, you might have a better chance of
getting a refund. If not, then definately try your credit card company
as they might be able tohelp as well.

     Good luck!

It is a matter of comprehending the theory so that I can apply it in my own work which of course has a deadline. Perhaps reading dense theory is easy for you but for me it helps to have someone reduce the language content of the theory to more easily understandable English, perhaps what is called plain English, so that I can be confident that I understand it.

    Thank you for your time.

I can't help myself, I have to say it - this is what happens when you try to cheat!  If it were just a question of comprehension, you wouldn't have much of a deadline.  My guess is that you planned to submit the work as your own.

As for a refund, well, ask your credit card company, definitely.

Pls help: Getting refund -online shopping

I would appreciate advice from anyone who can help me. I have trouble with two purchases online.

I bought two essays from an essay company based in England to help me understand theory. I am studying in England and needed help with theory as it is very complex for me in another language.

The first essay I bought was to arrive in 6 days by e-mail – the company says on their website guarantees page “all works is delivered on time”. The essay arrived 5 days late and was too late to help me. The company website says in their terms of contract that they “will discount customers 20% of the full sale-price of their written work for every 12 hours that this work is late.” I ask them for refund again and again but they ignore my e-mails.

The second essay was paid for two days after I bought the first so I was unknowing of their standard. Again I paid for an essay to be delivered by email in 6 days. After four days the company email to say that there is delay and I now have to wait another four days and hope it not cause me a problem. It does cause me problem so I email them and they ignore my emails. The essay order was 12 day sago so it is now 6 days late. It is not “on time” as their website guarantees, it is to late for me, and they ignore requests for refund even though as I say before their website say in their terms of contract that they “will discount customers 20% of the full sale-price of their written work for every 12 hours that this work is late.”

I have an English credit card. Do you think that I qualify to get my money back through credit card? How do I ask and what do I say? I can’t afford to go to court but this company has cost me much money.

    Thank you for your help.

    Axel
