Please help! O2 is charging me 334GBP

Hi, I have exceeded my monthly allowance on my o2 mobile broadband, i have a 20 GBP/ month contract with 3GB allowance. I have NOT received any warning, any text, they did not disconnect me and now are charging 334 GBP for my monthly usage. Is there anything i can do here? I think it is absolutely over the top, they have done anything to warn me. Any tips what i can do to reduce this charge? Did anyone experience this before with O2? Thanks for any help!

This does seem slightly excessive - could you please elaborate on the bill ?

Excessive but not surprising. Outside the inclusive 3GB it costs 19.6p/Mb (or £196/Gb!!!!!)

So the £334 is less than 2Gb over. Easily incurred by streaming or downloading on iPlayer.

    Be warned.

    Total volume 4,856,877

They are charging me £273.78 +VAT for the exluded KBs + £17.02 +VAT for my standard subsciption.

    in Total £334.42...

I know that they have this in the T&C, etc and now I realise that it's easy to go over limit but I thought that they notify you by email or text if you go over? Or at least disconnect the service.

What are my options here? What do you guys think? This bill seems really unfair especially they didn't not warn me at all..

See here if the link works...

There is a process failure to investigate and a description of how PAYG is handled....

Possibly too late in your case but anybody else reading this who could use PAYG instead of a contract would be well advised to consider.
