    Re: Pipex customer service

Hi, I have just posted my problems elsewhere in this forum

    http://forum.moneysupermarket.com/forums/10/3929/ShowThread.aspx#3929

It seems that there are a lot of disgruntled Pipex users out there, the last point in my post was that maybe it would be worth setting up a forum solely to batter pipex - something along the lines of pipexsuck.co.uk or whypipexareuseless.co.uk - your input on this thread would be gratefully received. If I get enough response, I will set up a site for this purpose.

Extreme measures, but the more I read about this company, the more they seem to deserve it.

    Re: Pipex customer service

Thanks for the information "Solo", it's getting a little clearer.

Cusomers need to be able to direct their complaints to a department that can take ownership and effectively resolve any issues, can anyone help with more info regarding the structure of the Company with the relevant phone numbers.

In my experience they pass you from department to department incurring unacceptable phone cost's when all I need is a number to phone and a person who will take sole ownership of my issues then resolve them and contact me to confirm the outcome.

It is a complete waste of time sending Pipex e/mails because the responces have never related to my issues, why do they do this ????

I have resorted to cancelling my standing orders to ensure Pipex does not collect the overstated amounts on the invoices because I have noted it is very difficult to recover monies collected in error, when doing this I noted there were 3 standing orders which is a bit strange.

Pipex Communications is the overall company.

Pipex Internet is the original Pipex and any purchased ISPs that have been integrated.

Pipex Homecall is the old Homecall company bought earlier this year by Pipex for its phone business. Pending integration, Pipex Homecall broadband is still provided by Tiscali.

If your contract is with Pipex Internet then your broadband should be from them, although the phone might be with Homecall.

    Re: Pipex customer service

My contract appears to be with Pipex internet Ltd. - I signed up to the Pipex "Start" bundle which was priced £6.50 for broadband and £12.50 for anytime calls.
Can you confirm if I am with Pipex or Pipex Homecall, are they not the same Company - The structure is a bit confusing ??.

    Re: Pipex customer service

this issue you speak of is it with pipex or pipex homecall?

I think it is possible that the bigwigs at pipex have probably come accross this thread as they do use this site as one of many to check their prices against other companies.

    Pipex customer service

    Hi
Does any one know how Pipex is structured, from my experience with them what would normally be different departments appear to be operated by different companies this may explain why they are incapable of resolving customer issues, for example Company "A" credits the customer and Company "B" continues to collect the credited monies.

If they are not operated by different companies the departments do not have the capability to effectivelly communicate with each other resulting in their feeble attempts to support customers being a complete waste everyones of time and the cost of phone calls.

Has anyone ever sought confirmation that the chairman of Pipex regulary reads this thread, If he does not do this we can assume he is not interested in the wellbeing of his customers,.

I still hope they can resolve the lack of customer support maybe a change of chairman is required, If only we customers could vote on it.
