    Pipex Breach of Contract - Latest

    They now claim the delay in receipt of replacement CD ( the same incorrect version ! ) was due to the postal strikes. Unfortunately everything is recorded/dated etc. by me. CD should have been sent URGENT on 10th July but was not sent until 18th and received on 19th. The postal strike was on 13th. They also state they have ' a reasonable time to deliver the installation CD ' but have not found anything to that effect on their website and have told them so. Offer of a goodwill gesture i.e. a 9 day ' refund ' . Told them appreciated the gesture but nothing doing as have cancelled Direct Debit. They want £140.78 as a cancellation fee. Nothing doing there, either, as don't see how a service they've never provided can be cancelled and I've sent everything back to Net Lynk anyway, as they have been told twice. Doubt if Tiscali will want Pipex problems now they have purchased them as they have enough complaints about their own ' service '. See Forum.
