Re: Pipex and Breach of Contract etc.

I finally got it sorted out !!!!!!  They have cancelled the ' contract ' w.e.f. 17th September ( apparently it takes BT 7 days to remove the ISP provider from the telephone line ). Customer Services became involved and cancelled  the first 2 months when no service existed, a further 2 months cancellation as ' a gesture of goodwill ' but a cancellation fee of over £150.00 for the remainder of the contract. I thanked her for the gesture but still said ' No ' and finally they gave in. All that remains now is to see if BT really do remove them from my line.

Pipex and Breach of Contract etc.

Another message, this time from ' Customer Care e-mail team ' ( Customer WOT ?) saying my email has been forwarded to Customer Relations who will ' investigate ' the situation further." They currently have a 10 working day response time so I thank you in advance for your patience "

With the number of complaints they collect I'm surprised it's only 10 days !!!
