Also, more percisely, may i add that you can infact "buy out" and phone contract at any time, the price would be the entire contract at its set monthly amout for the rest of the time left on the contracts.. BUT you can tell them ti split it down into affordable monthly bills differeing from person to person depending on income. Unfortunately i dont think theres a way to cancel it money-free after pen touches paper.

I had the exact same problem with the exact same company! an iphone 3Gs black 16GB handset was given to me the day i started my contract and was faulty, i was almost sure it was refurbished anyway! i contacted them, they had me take it into store and ( even though i had insurance with them ) they said id have to pay for the repair. at the time, i couldnt care less, i just wanted my phone back and after 3 days i asked what was happening with it. They told me it has been sent to some place relative to apply to be fixed and it needed a new digitaliser for the screen ( huh?) anyways, i was , like yourself, discusted and angry with this, i demanded a "coutosey phone" and that they give me proof my phone was brand new ( as they brough the box out open to "show me " the phone?) anyways after saying this they straight away gave me a lower model but still decent smartphone to use and in the end didnt charge me fer a fixed phone, which was APARENTLy brand new..

    Phones 4 U and contract Upgrade - I can't cancel

I recently upgraded my phone contract through Phones 4 U (big mistake) and there is a problem with the handset which I reported within a day of picking up the handset. A combination of such an appalling experience with Phones 4 U and the prospect of being without a phone for 5 days I wanted to cancel my contract so I could go elsewhere. On chasing up Phones 4 U about the canceling I was told as this is an extension to a contract I couldn't cancel. This came as a complete surprise.

Any advice about cancelling would be much appreciated.

I have a complaint pending with Phones 4 U but you can guess what the answer will be so I am anticipating having to challenge
