I am looking to install a Nokia CK-7W Bluetooth Handsfree car kit into this car, but would like the sound to come out of the car speakers, instead of a little box speaker, that would normally mount in a footwell.

I know I need a mute cable, for this to work, but one of the questions is does it have the standard ISO Plugs, or the larger quad lock connector, as it could have one of the other. Apart from ringing Peugeot Service dept at a dealer, does anyone know what this system has on the back of it, so I know which type of mute cable to get?!?!

I have not had a look at the Clarion head unit in the Peugeot 206 but it may be worth searching google or local yellow pages for bluetooth car kit fitters and they should tell you exactly what cable you need to install your kit. Main dealers normally use these fitters anyway.

Have you actually bought the Nokia kit yet? The reason I ask is that I have had 4 Bluetooth kits fitted in different cars and the Nokia CK1 and Nokia CK7 but had probs with my voice coming back through the speakers as well as interference and dropping the connection occasionally.

As I was getting many calls during each day I changed to a Parrot kit and these were far better in terms of call quality and reliablity.

I have not purchased the car kit as yet, but its the same kit I have installed in my Vauxhall Astra Elite model 57 reg, and I love it.

It works really well, connected to my Sony Ericcsson K800i, and my Nokia work mobile.
