Hi could you let me know if my recently deceased fathers pension can be transferred over to my mother.  They divorced about 10 yrs ago but neither remarried.

Hi,  it depends on the rules of the pension scheme and what if any, agreement was made about your late fathers pension at the time of your parents divorce.

Unfortunately if they divorced and no agreement was made by the court over their pension benefits then generally, your mother would not be entitled to receive any of his pension as she is no longer financially dependant on your father,  unless of course she can prove otherwise. 

The best thing you can do is to ring the pension provider and ask them if there is anything due.
