Re: Payment Protection for a mortgage - Lupus Sufferer - FAO Users= 'Mortgageadvisor' & 'Independent-Mortgage-Broker'

    Hi 'Mortgage consultant',

I have read your previous post, and I am also looking for insurance as I am a lupus sufferer. I have been turned down frequently by certain co's (ie Scottish Prov, L&G).

I am new to this forum and cannot work out the 'private messages' function yet.

    so apologies for posting here.

Can you advise me of the company you described or put them in touch with me please?

    Thanks

    Rhys

    Hi Liverpool,

I work with a number of firms that specialize in impaired life cover - this is where they have access to underwriting facilities that standard cover doesn't.  Good luck.

Payment Protection for a mortgage - Lupus Sufferer

    Hi everyone,

I am currently in the process of getting my first mortgage and I've been doing some research into payment protection to cover me but I'm having difficulty finding one that will cover my Lupus. I'm buying a shared ownership property which means I only have a small mortgage (not sure if this makes any difference!!)

I'm a 24 yr old female and have suffered from Lupus for 11 years now. I haven't had a serious flare up for 4 years now (touchwood!!)

Does anyone know of a company that will cover my Lupus? Or have you just gone for protection excluding your Lupus?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated

    Thanks very much,

    Jenny
