    Re: Pay off debt

Hi I'm in a similar position as you, ive tried applying for loans but with that debt the only ones that will accept you will have sky high interest that will only add to your debt. My advice is to contact CCCS its a charity so there is no payment involved, they will speak to all your loan/cc companies and make a deal about repayments after they have asked you about your expenditure. If you then want to pay more one month to hurry up and pay debts off you can and again no fees involved. Thats what im doing now, the only drawback is that it will affect your credit profile but so will massive debts spread across a few loans and cc's so as i wont be looking for credit any time soon its perfect for me. CCCS also freeze interest and charges on most/all of your accounts.

Hope this helps, if you still want to go for a loan, choose carefully ever application shows up on your credit file and goes against you the next time you try.

    Good luck!

    Pay off debt

I have approx £25,000 of debt spread over 5 loans/cards. I just want to pay them off as quick as I can. I wondered if anyone can tell me if there is a loan where I can spread the repayment over say 7-10 years and pay off lumps as I get more money from say any extra overtime, without getting penalized. Then I can lower the debt faster and see light at the end of a long tunnel.
