    overdraft and credit cards

    Hi

I was wondering, is it possible to apply for more than one 0% balance transfer card at the same time? I currently have three credit cards (Mint, Halifax One and Barclaycard, plus a store card). I have £5800 on Mint, £2500 on Halifax, £900 on Barclaycard and £700 on the store card. I'm looking to transfer half of the credit card balances on to a 0% card and then maybe apply for another card to transfer my overdraft £1500) and the balance of the Barclaycard and store card and then cut those cards up. Does that sound as if it may be possible? The interest on the Mint and the Halifax are killing me at the moment. I'm making all the minimum repayments but Mint and Halifax are just not coming down because I'm just paying interest off every month. I need some help/ideas as to the best way to get rid!

    Re: overdraft and credit cards

You are running the risk of having too much available credit and being declined because of over commitment, but the only way to find out for sure is to apply.

    Catch 22 situation I'm afraid. !
