Re: Orange Pay monthly - change of T&C's

    hello

basically orange have changed their minimum call rate on ALL contracts, from 5p to 14.7p there is a clause to say along the lines that if the netwrok increases any prices that are above the uk retail price index then the consumer can terminate the contract at 30 days notice at NO COST

there is another clause on top of this to say that your handset is not part of your airtime agreement which allows you to keep your handset, i upgraded last month and have managed to keep my phone and cancel my remaining 23 months at no cost!!

My brother has also completed his too with out the text, you do not need to recieve this text as orange as staggering their texts

these changed take place on the 13th september, you have until the 13th of august to cancel or it automatically means you have accepted the new terms of the agreement

go to bitterwallet.com for more details on there

Well that may or may not be true but the application of 4.3 (or 4.3.1) depends on the actual change which hasn't been revealled in this forum.

Orange Pay monthly - change of T&C's

If you have an orange contract keep an eye out for a text from orange explaining that they have changed some of their T&C's. This is only on certain price tarifs....

If you receive one of these texts you can call up orange and ask for your pac code and leave......

This means if you have just upgraded, got a new phone you can leave without seeing your contract. This has been confirmed by 2 friends of mine who both work in a mobile shop who have succesfully ported away from orange ( both well within the contract ) If you haven't received the text then there is nothing you can do....

Hope this helps out a few people!
