I read in the newspaper today that by 2009, there will only be ONE insurer! Comapnies will take each other over, join forces, and by 2009, there will just be ONE insurer.
A brilliant idea if you ask me as at least with this, costs will be saved - i.e. it costs an insurer when a complainer....sorry, i mean customer, keeps changing insurer each year to get the introductory new customer discount. This way, the price you get at your renewal each year is the price you pay.
The newspaper also added that in 2007, all insurers will begin stating in block letters on renewal papers that this is the best price the company will offer. This will save the companies resources in wasted phone calls by customers in asking for even more discount.
A genius idea if you ask me, all of the above makes total sense and I 100% agree with it all.
