Ofcom & BT decide to charge the working poor an extra £32 per quarter

To coincide with the doubling of their income tax the working poor will be charged £32.75 more than unemployed wastrels* for a telephone line. A BT Basic line will cost £3 rental + £1.50 calls package + free paper bill + no cash payment surcharge but is only available to the indolent.* An equivalent package for the working poor will continue to cost £15.25.

    * There are, allegedly, some pockets of recipients deserving of their benefits. In the present employment climate I remain unconvinced.
