Their systems dont allow for you todo this, with closed accounts they do but with live accounts its not an option

    Hiya

I am not on a fixed term agreement. I told them i just wanted the Debt Management to cover what is owed not any future payments and thats what my Debt Managment company agreed aswell. They are currently in talks with npower because they dont understand why npower is trying to quote future use aswell when Debt Management is only ment to cover what is owed not what may be due.

    Re: Npower & Debt Management

It is possible the future amount may include a lump sum to pay at the end of a fixed price agreement if you have one of those applying to your account with the energy supplier. Usually a recognised Debt Manager would have already obtained the figures from the supplier in order to calculate the payment for outstanding amount so it is an unusual situation they now reject the figures, unless another month or two billed amounts has accumulated since the calculation was done. Ask to speak to the specific person involved if known and they could take up the issue with the ordinary debt collecting or billing staff.

    Npower & Debt Management

I went into Debt Management 2 months ago and all my companies have accepted apart from Npower who keep trying to future value it.

    For Example:

They told me i was to pay £105 a month to incorporate the outstanding with the estimated future use. I told them that i dont want to include future use i will be able to pay my quarterly bills as usual it just that due to unforseen job loss i cannot pay the outstanding. I now have got myself back on my feet but they wont accept the amount given to them for the amount outstanding.

They dont seem to understand that the amount is just for what is outstanding not future usuage.

Any advice on how to get through to them?

    Many Thanks
